'Patterns of the past' historic garden

Brief: To redesign the planting in Hampton Court Palace’s Chapel Court Tudor garden.

Concept:  The design takes inspiration from Tudor knot gardens, Hampton Court's historic brickwork, and a source book of plants from the reign of Henry VIII. Every specimen is tied to the magical, medicinal, or culinary traditions of the Tudor period, creating a rich tapestry of year-round color and living history.
